“When a man believes, it is God alone who caused him to believe.”

That statement immediately raises the question:
If that’s true, why does God still hold anyone responsible?

In Acts 13:40–52, Luke draws a sharp contrast between rejection and belief.
Those who reject Christ are fully culpable for their unbelief.
But those who believe do so because God sovereignly appointed them to eternal life.

This sermon carefully works through Acts 13:48 and shows how Scripture assigns:

real responsibility to unbelievers
and full credit to God alone for saving faith
