A video was recently posted by Youtuber @metalshaperJeep called " Why Is Everyone So Stupid And Is Anyone Else Getting Customers Who Know Everything?" Where he recounts a bad customer experience that had him rethink his entire way of doing business
This got us thinking about the contrast between doing business in the pre-internet era as opposed to now where customers arrive at your door loaded with an armada of half knowledge gleaned from the internet, and even worse, half baked unvetted AI answers.
To make matters worse, the modern disgruntled customer has the ability to speed nonsense all over the Internet with no systems or checks to balance them.
It's Idiocracy in action, and the only thing you can do to protect yourself is cut them off at the first hint of difficulty.
