Iceage is a post-punk band from Copenaghen, Denmark. Their fifth and new studio album, For Love of Grace & the Hereafter, follows their previous album, Seek Shelter, five years later. Recorded in rural Sweden, it's the band's least ornate work: there are no elaborate orchestral arrangements or horns, but the songs are structured around pulsing drums and bass, with guitar and vocals intertwining in the foreground. A cohesive, compact, and energetic album.
