The Californian Chuck Prophet, musician highly appreciated for his participation in a band very influential as Green On Red, recording an ep and eight albums with them and then, in 1990, starting a long solo career and author for others,has released his new studio album Wake The Dead. During a heavy period, in which he had to treat a serious illness,he conceived the songs that are part of the album, approaching the cumbia, Latin American genre returned in vogue in recent years but the work naturally contains other enjoyable ideas.
