This is a setup for a way to get Ice Arrows early as adult without hookshot and only 2 keys (or 1 if you come from the lava room). This is useful for challenge races/beta quest/puzzles that don't have hookshot.
Target the wall to the right of the door, sidehop left, backflip, sideroll, then walk forward just enough for the A button to say open. Put down a bomb and open the door on the frame shown, then target, turn left, and do a neutral roll and wait for the door to close. Next, just void in the lava for entrance point glitch and carefully walk through the walls to the ice arrow chest. The EPG doesn't work with hover boots recoil boost on this door. This works with a bombchu instead of a bomb if you shield drop it.
