Exodus122 | Majora's Mask - Open Debug Menu with Song of Soaring @exodus122 | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 6 hours ago
I worked together with Faschz to find this: youtube.com/user/Faschz
Update: This works on the Wii U version of the game and can be done with only 63 songs of soaring: youtube.com/watch?v=tOSeV-4Mtok
This lets you open a Debug Menu (Inventory Editor) on Virtual Console, but you can't use it because the N64 d-pad isn't mapped on VC. This works on Wii U, however. Trying to do this on US N64 crashes the game. Here is a translated version of the debug menu so you can read it: tcrf.net/images/3/37/ZMMInventoryDebugTranslated.png
This menu is used to give yourself any item, mask, song, remain, and more.
There is a short integer which keeps track of which menu you have open currently. If set to certain values (9-14), the OoT save menu will be open. Some other values (16-18) will cause the area to reload when a button is pressed, but that causes a crash on VC US version.
