JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — For the last four years, Windber graduate Sarah Finlay has been the face of the Johnstown Mill Rats.

But before she was running a baseball team, she was just a girl who grew up loving sports and never really knowing where that love would take her.

Sports were always a part of Sarah Finlay’s life, growing up in a family where everyone played.

Finlay graduated from Windber in 2010, where she played softball and basketball.

She even had college offers to continue playing but chose a different path.

Instead, at just 17 years old, Finlay enlisted in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
