The FISU World University Games concluded last week in Chengdu, China; the athletes have gone home and the athletes' village has just closed. But what actually happened inside the Athletes' Village during the competition?

I went inside the village for the final few days of the Games to see what 6,500 foreign university students were getting up to at night.
