During a trip to the city of Zhuhai, in Guangdong Province, I got to be Best Man at a unique and extremely rare wedding ceremony: The Doumen Wedding-on-the-Water.
It's a centuries old Han Chinese wedding ceremony that has become harder and harder to witness in person as the years go by. But thankfully, there are efforts taking place to preserve and promote this wonderful (and rather confusing) wedding ceremony.
So, check out this rather amazing ceremony in all its glory. It was very kind of the happy couple to let me take part in this in order to allow more people to learn about this rare tradition, and I hope you enjoy watching it and seeing something rather special and rare.
