Ha, what do I have to say? It was a dark-ish MEP call about hot guys in a black-white-red color scheme so I obviously HAD to join because that's totally my jam. (And because I needed another chance to show how y'all how hot Agent Smith is, especially with some suitable filters and editing lol). Also, I rlly love this song!
The beginning is just some instrumental with humming, so I put some cool mysterious walking scenes of Agent Smith (I especially love the look of the shadow scenes) followed by his epic anime villain moment where he goes all evil God mode with the lightning blazing behind him which was so perfect for "Because I'm the Devil (...)". "(...) who's searching for redemption" mainly has those clips because of the good lip-sync, but also because Smith is kinda... searching for the thrill and combat? Idk, he seems to enjoy it too lol. "And I'm a lawyer (...)" uses Smith assimilating Bane 'cause it had a cool shot of the phone falling to reveal Smith, the whole scene has great dynamic shots and Smith quite actually introduces himself to Bane here. The "lawyer" one just has the clip because of the lip sync again and becaue Smith looks so professional and focused here, like he could actually be a lawyer XD. The last scenes for "(...) who's searching for redemption" are the one of Smith entering the office looking for heroes to shoot because... he's searching and his last moments aren't a redemption, but you do see him "malfunctioning" and transforming where he has both a misanthrophic God-complex and has genuine fear of Neo giving up... it's a weird mix and suited the equally weird lyrics kinda well Imo.
Since the part was relatively short and easy and already looked cool, I added lyrics and used some red filters and colorings to follow the host's suggested color scheme and black transitions to keep it dark and dramatic. I love how it turned out!
