Another MEP part for the lovely Multi_exe's upcoming Characters-You-Kin-MEP!: youtube.com/watch?v=q0pwjRZ0pGo
I saw this MEP open and obviously had to join because I love personal themes like this. I relate a lot to Frodo Baggins, probably the most out of all my fictional faves, so I picked him and a nice variety of scenes to show his character.
My part of the song was pretty easy to work with ("(...) it's almost dangerous. You're like a blaze, you're never holding back. Spin me around, give me a hart attack. Go on (...)"), starting off rather funny, I went on to focus on his bravery but also his adorable light-heartedness. He caaan be a dangerous little menace too, like with the scene where he threatens Gollum haha and the "heart-attack"-part was so fitting that I HAD to use this clip. I didn't quite know how to end this part, so I just put a lip-synch scene with a good view of Elijah Wood's big adorable blue eyes! A favorite thing about editing thus part was making the music's beat match the clips.
As for transitions I used simple blending ones when I decided against the others to make it all match the mood of the song, put some slight colored filter on and turned the brightness up for some good vibes. I quite like how it turned out!

For SOME reason I am sick again so I'll just keep working on my MEP parts and my New Year's resolution will be... to edit more videos in 2024 LOL
