In this video I create a vintage inspired handbag after being inspired by the aesthetic of one of my favorite films, Sinners.
The best part is the bag did not start as fabric from a fabric store. It actually started as pillow covers I found at Goodwill. After a little pattern drafting and sewing in the studio, those pillow covers turned into this soft vintage style handbag that feels like it belongs in the 1930s.
