Today I am batch cutting the On the Go Girlee sets to prepare for Black Friday. I started my morning with coffee and a quick trip to Michaels to see if their fabric section had improved since my last visit. Ever since Joann’s closed my area has been waiting to see if Michaels would add more fabric but the shelves were still pretty empty. I did grab a fabric marker while I was there and headed back home to start cutting.
I put on my headphones and watched YouTube while I cut all of the exterior pieces for the set. I used scissors instead of my rotary cutter and most of the fabric I used came from previous Bible covers. My fabric is pretty expensive so I am really trying to use all of it this holiday season. I am not sure how well these sets will sell yet but I know the keychain card holder always does well, everyone loves a good makeup bag and the mini organizer pouch is perfect for cards and small items in your purse.
