It worked so well! There are SO many possibilities with this painting technique. I need to think through the compositions a bit more, but I am in love with the beautiful dreamy pearl cells at the edge of the blow out! Something new you can do with the dream cloud technique! Recipe:
Base coat and colors:
PM: 70/30% floetrol/gloss medium. 1 part paint to 3 parts pouring medium and water to thin
Satin enamel mixture (poured around the outside): 2 ounces artist loft flow acrylic white, 1 ounce satin enamel, 1 ounce gloss medium, 5 ounces US floetrol, 2-3 ounces of water. consistency should be slightly thick (1-2 second trace)
**measurements are estimates. less is more with satin enamel
