This is part 3 in a mini series where I test out the best golds to use with paint and water. Liquitex professional was the clear winner on this one! You do not have to use paint and water at all. There are lots of different pouring mediums out there. For me I love how pure the colors look and how the paints react with paint and water. But not all paint brands are created equal. Some do not hold up well to paint and water simply due to the fact that they don't have great binders and the water can break them down. I wanted to test out a bunch of different brands and see which ones do well and which ones do not. Stay tuned for part 4 in the series where I will go over my favorites and summarize everything. I am so happy that i found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy.
