In which I attempt to plot my new Nanowrimo project using The Anatomy of Story by John Truby! What I didn't realise before getting into it, though, is that The Anatomy of Story is DENSE - there's a lot in there, and it's taking me a long time to get through it. So this video focuses on Step 1 - figuring out the Premise for three different book ideas.
For the ideas, I'm trying a different approach this year - rather than taking three brand new book ideas and trying to outline them, I'm taking three ideas that are at different stages (one is brand new, one I outlined for Nanowrimo last year, and one already has a draft that needs rewriting) to test how the process works for each of them.
