I finally finished the first draft of my Nanowrimo project! One month of planning and two months of writing down, with almost 72k words to show for it.
Now that I'm at the end of this stage of the writing process, I'm feeling... okay. Not as triumphant or ecstatic as I was expecting, but I'm happy to be done. I'm proud of myself for sticking to a regular writing routine and persisting through the difficult patches.
Next step from here - completely forget about Powerless for the next 3 months while I start on the next writing project! 😅

- Should I do a video about my first impressions now that I'm done with my first draft? (I.e. How I feel about what I've written, what worked and what didn't, etc.?)
TIME STAMPS:
00:00 - December 24 - my first day back after 12 days of no writing
07:59 - Christmas day! (Merry Christmas, btw.) Playstation procrastination, broken laptop dramas, building up to the battle scene
12:00 - December 26 - Waking up at 4am and getting through all of my writing by 10am! 😆 2,429 words and a new scene added.
15:14 - December 27 - struggling to get writing done while working from home (because I actually have to work). Took all day to get through THE BATTLE SCENE THAT WOULD NEVER END 😑
20:38 - December 28. Could I finish today?? (The answer - no. 3,295 words and I ran out of steam.
25:37 - December 29 - I FINISHED! It took forever to get through my last scene, and I don't love what I've done, but I AM DONE! 😁
