From the scenic Liberty State Park to the fast-paced Bryant Park raid train, I take you through the full Day 1 experience in one of the most energetic GO Fest events ever.
One of the biggest highlights of the day? Trading away a Shundo Zacian with a special background—a moment that truly made this day unforgettable. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to trade one of the rarest Pokémon in the game during a global event, this is your front-row seat.
But that wasn’t the only hype. The shiny rates were fire, and I hit the park hard trying to track down rare shinies like Shiny Frigibax, Shiny Drampa, Shiny Carbink, and even exclusive costume shinies like Train Conductor Pikachu. You’ll see firsthand just how many shinies can pop when you optimize your route and play with strategy.
We also jumped into our first-ever raid train at Bryant Park, and the experience was electric! Back-to-back raids, coordinated teams, and the chance to take down Crowned Sword Zacian and Crowned Shield Zamazenta while farming XP and XL candy—it was a dream come true for hardcore raiders.
