I took my friend on one of America's HARDEST hikes! That's right, Pam is back, and in this video we set out to conquer the legendary, and brutal, Old Rag - the toughest hike in Shenandoah National Park! This is the hardest day hike in all of Virginia by far, and one of the hardest day hikes in the country. Pam first attempted to summit Old Rag ten years ago, and it was not an experience she enjoyed. Now, with more backpacking and hiking experience (plus proper gear), she is back with me to attempt to summit this brutal Appalachian mountain again! This was one of the toughest challenges I have ever faced, and I was grateful to not have to tackle it alone. Watch as Pam and I shed blood, sweat, and tears on our attempt to make it to the top of this famous mountain together...
