This video shares some screenwriting tips from Hollywood Movies that actually work, in my opinion.
Screenwriting is something I am so deeply passionate about. I'm actually in the middle of a screenplay challenge where I am dedicating 100 days to writing my next movie script.
On my channel, you will see that I have many filmmaking tutorials, that are helpful for YouTubers, and I've been writing scripts for my YouTube videos for a while now, only because I gave up on my screenwriting dream a few years ago because if a bruised ego.
These days, my YouTube channel has some screenwriting tips too. I consulted a screenwriter who teaches scriptwriting for notes on the outline of my script.

She's been the best when it comes to screenplay coverage, also- she has great insight relating to screenplay contests and why it helps to be patient if you're in the space of your life where you are looking into selling a screenplay.
I wish there was some sort of screenwriting 101 manual that made it easy, but honestly, even if there was, the real work isn't learning what to do- it's writing. The best advice I get from screenwriters is to sit down and write.
Everything from screenwriting blogs, to YouTube channels like Film Courage, are great resources if you're searching for tips on screenwriting for beginners. There is incredible insight out there already when it comes to screenwriting advice. I definitely don't know it all, and I am so blessed to stand on the shoulders of the giants who have gone before me, but I do hope to also assist when it comes to providing value in the niche of how to write a screenplay.
Now, I read outstanding screenplays in the month of February and there were so many screenwriting techniques that I picked up on. Honestly, these lessons from the screenplay got me so excited to sit down and start writing a screenplay.

I don't have a video on how to write a script, but I can recommend Save The Cat as a great starting point if you're curious about structure. Apart from that, read some screenplays- you will learn so much from how the greats do it. At least, that helped me a lot.
