Today I'm sharing 3 writing exercises that improved my writing. These writing tips helped me rethink certain parts of my story to make them more engaging. Whether you're writing a novel, a screenplay, or maybe even a play, I hope some of these prompts will be helpful for you.

First, you can introduce a surprising twist that changes the course of the story. How does this alter the characters' goals and motivations?

Then, it could be an idea to introduce a moral dilemma for your protagonist. What difficult choice must they make, and what are the ethical implications of their decision?

A third tip could be to write a pivotal scene from a different character's perspective. How does this shift in viewpoint change your understanding of the events?
