My goodness, I wish I knew about screenwriting software at the beginning of my screenwriting career. I used Microsoft Word to write my screenplay. LOL! I used the space bar a lot. I didn’t know what needed to be upper case and I used “Beat” a lot because I was inspired by reading Whiplash.
Using formatting software to write your screenplays can be very helpful for several reasons:
