hi folks
this is something i made ages ago for a LotR OC mep hosted by ErewinofImladris and the whole mep turned out so so so beautiful and tragic i love it *flailing*
the task was to vid an oc (own character) in the lotr universe. i chose boromir (of course??! sean bean?!!? precious vulnerable human warrior baby!??!) and gilraen, portrayed by rebecca ferguson (am i obsessed with vidding her? no why would you ask that??). the idea behind is quite simple - they are in love and betrothed/married before he goes off to imladris. you know the rest of the story. (sigh)

first of all, and most importantly: its the (awfully late) secret santa gift for the loveliest @thekythereia ! kit, your list was a masterpiece, your taste is fire, and i had so many things i wanted to try. your work inspires me to no end, your skill is endless, so trying to come with something worthy of you and your wishes was quite nerve-wracking - and in the end i tried to make a sort of blend of things you might like. not sure if it worked. i hope you enjoy it nonetheless!

in the pit, the underground, the bottom of the barrel, there is a local tyrant (lucy lawless) - businesswoman, bawd, slaver. she has destroyed countless lives, among them her daughter charlottes. so charlotte and some allies - who in some form or other have all been the exploited and abused by the countess - plot to bring her down. they find dangerous allies - nobles and pirates alike, plot to expose her, but she proves hard to destroy. also something something solidarity in community, rule of the people etc etc.
