this has been a while in the dreaming, but with this being my first video of 2019, i’m trying to solidify my creative resolutions for this year – actually get a book on paper (maybe this one), publish more videos on my channel instead of working only on mep parts all the time…vid more OCs ;D it’s going to be a tough year, but i hope vidding (and hopefully writing) will provide a much-needed and welcome escape from reality.

Generations after the collapse of the Artan Empire and the following disappearance of near all forms of magic, the land is ravaged by disastrous harvests and the plague. For years, the people have been petitioning for a restoration of the ancient magic system and a rebuilding of the pillars that held the web of arcane energy intact throughout the land, but under the watchful eye of a near-powerless Empress and the Steward ruling over this land like a dying king, there is little hope in regaining those powers that could hold the disasters at bay.
Under the cover of darkness and the constant threat of execution, a group of rebels has been working tirelessly to recover and restore what has been lost, but being this far from any influence, their progress has been slow. Their circumstances change when Ellyrei, a hardly-gifted healer hiding her powers and heritage behind herbs and potions, is invited to the stone fortress to become the personal healer of the Steward’s only son, Rikash. Not only can she now help their cause from the very heart of power, but she finds there is an ancient might sleeping underneath the rocks of the fortress, one that could turn the tide in any war, and it’s calling to her…
