Sewstine | I Made the Striped Dress from Sleepy Hollow using Markers || 18th century Sewing Meets Tim Burton @Sewstine | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 3 minutes ago.
Did you know that the original dress in the Sleepy Hollow movie was made with magic markers? After having failed to make this dress three times before, I was determined to get it right! I used plain ivory silk taffeta and a whole army of markers in order to make this dress.
Please note that this movie was sponsored by @babylocksewing , for whom I am an ambassador, as well as @Beatrice Forms who kindly sent me a dress form for use in this video (and future ones for sure).
The Beatrice Dress form is from beatriceforms.com . I have been really lucky to only work with sponsors I realy believe in; and as soon as I saw how awesome this one was, I purchased a second one for my Victorian corset.
