From the first moment I walked into the Victoria and Albert Museum's 18th century room, I knew I needed ALL of the gowns on display. I think this will make the third and final one I need to make FROM that room! I use a pattern I drafted last year, some gorgeous silk, and a lot of hand and machine stitchery to make the floaty and floral gown of my dreams.
