We’re back in Atomcraft, and this episode is all about finally figuring out electrolysis.
After messing around with my wood and charcoal setup to make sure I’ve got a solid supply of carbon, I move on to one of the systems that seems to confuse a lot of players: how electrolysis actually works.
To make progress, I use magnesium chloride and set up a working electrolysis build that lets me produce magnesium properly. That breakthrough is the missing step I needed to finally continue the boron chain, which means I can start unlocking more advanced materials and heat-resistant components.
So this episode ends up being a mix of:
charcoal and carbon production
strontium processing
learning how electrolysis works
producing magnesium
and finally making boron
