The time has come. One, for me to comment on some of your comments. There are so many funny and clever ones and so many weird ones -- so reflective of you, my favorites! And hardly any mean ones, except one that said whatever I was doing with my hair simply "is not a thing." I can't be mad when she's so right.
Anyways, also it's time to come clean about the fact that my name isn't really Beth. It's Elizabeth. Also I want to tell you something about my face: my eyebrows aren't real. Ever since I discovered this Benefit eyebrow brush, I've been kind of going to town pretending I've got more than five hairs for eyebrows. Also, another thing I need say: I'm allergic to nuts. I mean, I'm not, like CLInically allergic, but I am telling myself I am (and I'm pretty good at lying to myself) because my peanut butter sitch has been getting a little out of control. Did you know you can really put it on anything.
And as long as I'm coming clean I will tell you that I like to put red wine in the fridge. I actually only like red wine when it's cold these days. And that's not just because it's hot out.
Also I feel it's okay to admit I've been reading Middlesex for about 2 years now. I only read it on planes and by that I mean I bring it along on trips but hardly ever read it. It's good! I just always forget what just happened and so all I ever do is skim back to recap what happened recently. Riots. It was riots.
I do read a lot of memoirs on my phone. I have the big one so don't worry about my eyes. But worry about my neck. Because I read it on the subway, and I look down to read it because I'm not afraid to look like an asshole holding my phone up eye level but I don't have Jillian Micheal's triceps and it's hard enough to live life in NYC without having hold my phone up to avoid phone neck.
So instead of holding my phone up on the subway, I'm moving to LA.
