Today I’m drinking a sample of the brand new Holmes Cay Infinity, with a sticker price of $1500. Is it worth it? Watch to see what I think. The Infinity is a blend of rums from seven countries and thirteen distilleries. Five of those distilleries are now defunct. The youngest rums in the blend are 20 years and the oldest are 47 years.

From Guadeloupe we’ve got column distilled cane juice rums that were distilled in 1998 from Montebello and Poisson. And from the defunct Gardel Distillery, there’s rums in here from 1993 all the way back to 1976, making that the other 47 year old rum in the blend. I hadn’t even heard of Gardel before this, but now I’m so excited to try some of it in this blend.
