Emily Jardine, from Reading, UK, ditched university to become a successful voice actor, now earning $155,000 (£114,000) a year. Emily's career began with a project assistant job on Gumtree - and ended up trying voice acting while in the role and fell in love. Initially she was only earning a few hundred pounds a year and continued working admin roles to pay her bills. However, she has now worked with several major brands such as Coca-Cola, Milka, Google and Whatsapp.
