When I decided I was going to live in a van, I knew I was still going to want to have most of the conveniences of living in a home. Meaning….I still wanted a way to play video games! I was able to create a very tiny living room with a simple entertainment center that doubled as a spare bed, so I think I did pretty good.
Greg, the dude who owns Kitchens By Gregory (kitchensbygregory.com/) provided me with all my cabinets on the cheap. He has a surplus of unused cabinets from old jobs that he’s willing to sell for a great price. Contact him directly and let him know I sent you or just let me know and we can hook you up with some cabinets for a good price!
Most of the supplies used during this portion of the build was lumber, but I can provide a few links to the hardware used as well as some links to what I use as an entertainment center.

My flooring was purchased from Habitat For Humanity (habitat.org/). It’s a great resale store where you can find all sorts of building supplies and products for a good price. I’d definitely recommend checking one out if you have one in your area!
If I was to put all the time it took to complete the living room for my van I would say it took somewhere around 3 days at eight hours per day. That’s with all the included help I had.
