Disclaimer : I am in no way a professional “van converter guy!” These videos share my experience during my conversion, highlighting the things that went well…..and not so well.
Putting a ceiling in your van can be a bit frustrating. It’s not like putting a ceiling in a house. First you have to figure out a way to adhere the ceiling to your metal box without puncturing any holes through the roof. Then you need to work with the contours of the van. Nothing is straight or level so make sure to take your time during the installation.
As you’ll see, I had a ton of help from friends and family during this process. It can be done by one person, but it doesn’t hurt to have a helping hand, or two, or three….

It probably took us about a day and a half to finish the ceiling. If you know exactly what you’re doing I can see it being done within a day if you have some help.
