I found a MASSIVE piece of Georgia jasper with a rough white cortex… but when I cracked it open, the inside told a completely different story.
In this video, I work through this “golden” jasper boulder by removing spalls, navigating tricky seams, and pushing toward one goal: pulling a large, clean blade from the core. Not every strike goes as planned, and this stone definitely had a few surprises hidden inside.
