Today, I chartered a boat from Sentosa Cove to visit one of Singapore’s most overlooked islands. The challenge: explore the island, find its resident monkey, identify restricted islands from the sea, and eat only what I can catch.
Pulau Hantu literally means “Ghost Island” in Malay, and it is known for its rustic nature, diving spots, and old legends. But beyond the ghost stories, this trip made me realise Singapore still has a wild side - if you know where to look.
Edit: the weight of the grouper I fished is likely 17lbs, not 17kg😂
