Challenging myself to eat at ALL stalls Inside one of Singapore's smallest hawker centres. There's a rumour that walking end-to-end takes less than a minute - it's that small. This is a hawker centre even a lot of locals don't know, due to its unusual location. The name is Jalan Benaan Kapal Food Centre, located at the Stadium/Kallang area in central Singapore. Although it may be small, it has a long and unique history where it used to cater to many shipyard workers. The shipyards eventually all shifted, and now they do not attract a similar volume of customers as before. Due to the area's plans to redevelop the area into a sports hub, the hawker centre may disappear soon.
