For Week 1 of Mike N2MAK's Five Two Simplex Challenge, I put real RF in the air on 146.52 MHz for seven consecutive days. Although I secured a contact on just one of those days, I recorded every single attempt to provide irrefutable video evidence of my calls. This is a grounded look at the daily realities of 2-meter simplex operation and proof that showing up consistently is the only true test of propagation.
