I've made it no secret that I don't like to participate in amateur radio contests. Yes I did some when I first got licensed, but that doesn't mean I have to continue to do so. So on Saturday, March 29, 2025, I headed out to US-3976 Cavalier Wildlife Management Area @VirginiaDWR, just south of Chesapeake, Virginia, for my second Parks On The Air @ParksOnTheAir (POTA) activation while in Virginia for the weekend. With the CQ World Wide WPX SSB contest going on, I opted for my usually option... the WARC Bands! Watch the video to find out what happened!

ALL amateur radio operators world-wide need to know the DX CODE OF CONDUCT. It was meant for DX contacts, but it really applies to ALL aspects of amateur radio (DXing, contesting, POTA, SOTA, Field Day, special events, etc...). DON'T BE AN ALPHA HOTEL!
