so yeah, I almost burnt out a few weeks ago and ... it sucked! let's talk about it how to deal with burnout and why experiencing burnout in your hobby is a totally normal and valid thing to experience (and why taking a break is the best thing to do AND ALSO the hardest thing to do!)
I've dealt with burnout a few times in my six or so years cosplaying, each of those times were for vastly different reasons and this last near-miss with it was especially rough when it came to just forcing myself to stop creating, especially when creating is one of my favorite things to do.
