No one teaches you how to talk to yourself.
You just absorb whatever’s around you growing up. The criticism. The scarcity. A mean voice in your head that’s harder on you than you’d ever be on anyone else. And most of us just decide that’s who we are and leave it there.
It’s NOT who you are. It’s just what you absorbed.
I started rewiring mine in 2010. One sentence at a time, repeated in the mirror (Louise Hay style) over and over again. Years later, I still do the inner work and I’m obsessed with helping others do the same.
You’re not stuck with the voice you grew up with. You’re not broken. You just never knew you were allowed to change it.
Pick one and start saying it to yourself today. It’ll feel weird for a while but say it anyway.
Which one are you starting with? Tell me below.
