For many years I've been on the search for a model of Canada's largest steam locomotive, the 2-10-4 "Selkirk" named after its mountain climbing roots.

I finally found one on eBay at a decent price, however after purchasing the model I soon learned why the cost was the amount it was. The model had many mechanical and electrical problems which needed to be rectified.

Luckily after some problem solving I was able to get the locomotive running and hauled a freight train around the layout.
