The best way to learn about Victorian clothing is to study the original antiques, but not everyone has access to museums or clothing collections. So, that’s why I am here! I love collecting antique and vintage clothing, and I want to share my (almost) 15 years of Dress Historian experience with you all. Learning from the past can help us make a more beautiful future. So, let’s sit back, relax, and look at a Late Victorian Evening Bodice, and 1880s Bustle Skirt, and a 1910s blouse. We’ll look at some sewing details, get ideas for your own historical costuming sewing projects, and also...look for hidden pockets!
