It is now finally time for me to take a look at the newest release in the Harry Potter family (only like 5 weeks too late or something). And I have to say right ahead that I am not a big fan of the concept of Quidditch AT ALL and making a full game about it seems like a weird idea for me.
Playing it I have to say that I enjoyed parts of it, it has a bunch of cool effects to look at and the sound effects work well! Gameplay wise I do like the idea of making all of the different positions playable but a lot of them seem sort of useless overall, especially playing against bots, which made it feel like a worse and more convoluted version of Rocket League at some times.
After those 2 hours of casual gameplay I certainly felt like I had seen everything that game has to offer as well and I'm quite sure that I wouldn't really pick this game up ever again if not for speedrunning, the rewards of the season pass don't really motivate me enough to keep playing...
Very meh game overall, maybe a 5/10 or something. Not poorly excecuted but just pointless and it gets boring even quicker than the OG Quidditch World Cup for me. I really hope that this video illustrates WHY I think this game flopped and why people are just not returning to play this anymore. I hope you are still going to have fun watching this video, at the very least I have covered this game on this channel now...
