Ten years into the so-called end of the world, our un-named protagonist doesn't appear to be struggling in what's now a post-apocalyptic wasteland. There's plenty of abandoned houses, endless cans of food, and an intelligent and agreeable friend to keep him company 24/7. But can our main character really trust what this unseen friend tells him? That he's the only human left on Earth and a secret government has started to create replicant humans using Lizard DNA... or maybe they're aliens from space!
