Playthrough | Part 35: The Origin of Rei Ryghts
What you're going to see here is required to obtain the true ending for Neptunia Re;Birth3 VGeneration.
Before we take on Rei Ryghts, we need to take a little detour. Essentially, we need to visit six different areas in Gamindustri. These six areas contain bits and pieces of the origin story of Rei Ryghts, the main antagonist of this game. Considering that this is also Re;Birth3, you need to use Plans to unlock these specific dungeons.
They consist of the following areas.
Powerlevel Island (Planeptune)
Vida Dimension (Lastation)
So Shal Forest (Hello Continent)
Keraga Dimension (Hello Continent)
Pii Shii Game Factory (PC Continent)
Graphic Pass (Eden)
Once you unlock these dungeons, you need to visit them and find a specific event marker. With each marker, you unlock a piece of the origin story. Once you find all six, that's it. By the way, if you want to get the Good Ending, find five of them, then make a new save.
In terms of these scenes, they detail how in ancient times, Gamindustri was a lawless continent driven by war. CPUs were the stuff of myths. Then Rei Ryghts, trying to survive, ingested a CPU Memory. She thought it was food. However, this turned her into a CPU. She also gained an Oracle of her own, named Croire. Using this newfound power, she would form her own nation, Tari. At first she did her best but she would end up becoming a tyrant. The people rebelled against her and in a fit of rage, unleashed her power. It devastated her nation and took away her power. For thousands of years, she contemplated only to realize that CPUs shouldn't exist. This would lead her to form the Seven Sages, leading to the events of the game.
Back in the present, the CPUs confront Rei Ryghts who has gone nuts. They transform, only for Rei to transform as well. Rei Ryghts is a CPU and she hits hard. Buff your party then bring the pain. That's all there is. Once Rei is defeated, she passes out. The CPUs decide to take her back to the Basilicom for answers.
Part 36 begins the final chapter of this tale.
