🚀 The NHS hybrid closed loop rollout is officially happening!

I sat down with @DrAliLumb — Chair of @DTN_UK — to unpack what this means for people living with type 1 diabetes in the UK.

Here’s a quick look at the current NHS criteria for hybrid closed loop funding:
✅ HbA1c of 58 mmol/mol (7.5%) or higher, or
✅ Disabling hypos, despite best possible management with a pump and/or CGM (real-time or flash), or
✅ Aged 18 or under, or
✅ Pregnant or planning pregnancy

We also discussed what’s next as the rollout expands across NHS trusts in the coming months.
