Disclaimer: Novonordisk Digital invited me to their Connected Pens ( Smart Pens) event during EASD 2019. They have kindly reimbursed my travel and provided me with food during the event. They have not asked me to make this video and this is my fully independent content.
So smartpens. I have mentioned multiple times how important this technology is as vast majority of people with diabetes use MDI (multiple daily injections). Smartpen is an insulin pen which collects data about your injections ( time, date, units and so on) and stores it for later upload or sends it automatically to the app. We are at a very early stages of smartpens and they are not available in many places yet. I will soon make a dedicated video explaining the 'concept of smartpens'. Please let me know if you have any questions about Smartpens and I will try my best to answer them directly in the comments and include them in my upcoming video.
