So, I'd say that this is pretty much entirely different from what I usually make!
Starting off, I wanna say that I hardly know what this could be called. It's something of an edit, something of an animated fanfic(?), something of a pure comfort idea and a random idea that turned into something a little different by the end. Also it's kind of my own AU, I suppose? sajdhdsjhs
Anyways, I wanna start off by saying that my starting idea was more of an edit than the result is. My first idea was to put Some kind of video game themed music (my first song choice was Games by KYLE ^^), and just edit these scenes with like a pink coloring and occasionally change the screen they're playing on, to various games. I wanted to record games on classic consoles, too, as this joy station is supposed to be the hxh universe's ps1. So anything on the ps1 or anything that doesn't have joystick control. I actually wanted them to play the ps1 game ''Hunter x Hunter - Maboroshi no Greed Island''. Howeeever, today I got some sudden inspo for this idea, and that's where it started changing. My first thought today was that they could play LOZ: the Wind Waker. Now, I know, I know, this is backwards. Wind Waker was originally on the Gamecube, a console by a completely different company, and it also has joystick control. What's more backwards is that I actually recorded myself playing the Wii U version, instead sakdhsajhds But! I think that for this video, we can try throwing some logic out of the window and appreciate these boys gaming? ^^
Well then, yes, this just turned into me inserting them into a situation where they talked about games, played one for hours and talked about it, before stopping and going off on a little chat ^^
Also also!! I gave them music to listen to while gaming!! Which is the song you're hearing throughout the video, with this also being one of the songs I listen to sometimes while gaming, myself ^^ Thought about using a second song in this too, but I decided against it as I didn't want to potentially ruin the vibe. Also it's been a solid 5 months since I've last played this game - so this also included me kinda brushing up on it while recording sakdjhsjahs
I also tried to shift to different scenes at points, to show that things are happening outside of them being inside and playing games (accompanied by muffling the music), or shift to scenes of them ''talking'' about the game, or use fades to black to show the passage of time ^^ Similarly, for the most part, I cut to different parts of the song to show this passage in time ^^
Uuuuhh, lastly - yeah, I used the dub audio for this. Simply bc I wanted to ^^
It was very fun to try to manipulate the clips into something a bit different, and trying to make them fit the situation ^^
Ah and some little things in this video still went to the beat of the song, I feel.

I could have fixed another audio thingy at 0:48 to make it more in line with the other audio transitions, but I don't wanna render this a third time. Oh well.
Apologies for any stutter in the gameplay. Speaking of texture glitches in the gameplay, I'm not sure what happened, or why after rendering 0:56-0:57 looks like That (the little gray screen) but uh, again, I don't feel like rendering this another time to fix that ^^''
I didn't have the possibility to remove the music from the actual episode at the start, either, so I tried to blend it somewhat.

I'm not even sure if this video is interesting? But, it was at least fun to try something like this ^^ Now I'm not sure if I'd like to try smth else like this in the future, but we shall see ^^

I wanna say that I'm surprised I've never seen anyone edit with these particular joy station scenes before!
