In the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon a new industry for America will
grow, a natural rubber industry to provide a critical, strategic material we
now import and use 1.5 million tons each year to make 50,000 items that
depend on it. This project will turn America from being an importer to be
an exporter to the growing global markets for natural rubber, using two
alternative plant species that yield a high quality natural rubber.
Greg O'Neill is a Vietnam vet who served in the Navy, later in the Army, still serving America.
Background in journalism, public affairs, community relations, sales, advertising,
database management, computer operations, personnel administration and
management, training and supervising a newspaper staff to get out a 12 page
weekly paper with 5,000 distributed copies at Naval Air Station Whiting Field,
in Milton, FL. Awarded the Army Commendation Medal in Europe for exemplary
service, with a high quality overhaul of a failing personnel administration system.
Attended the Army Officer Candidate School Class 1-80 at Fort Benning, GA,
served at missile battery, battalion and brigade commands.
