Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling TV Series (1985–1986) Cartoon Intro
Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling was animated and produced by DIC Animation City. It featured animated adventures of popular WWF stars from the time, including its title character Hulk Hogan and his group of wrestlers fighting against a group of rogue wrestlers led by Rowdy Roddy Piper.
The show followed cartoon archetypes concerning good characters triumphing over evil-doers in wacky situations, typical of children's cartoons in the 1980s.
Rarely referenced, wrestling was simply a device to determine the good guys from the bad guys. The wrestlers themselves appeared in the live-action segments of the show; however, due to their busy travel schedule, they did not provide the voices for their animated counterparts.
These were instead performed by professional voice actors. One recurring live-action segment was the music video for the cover of "Land of a Thousand Dances" recorded by several WWF wrestlers for The Wrestling Album.

Released on September 14 1985, the WWE owns the content and it can be found on the WWE Network it does not appear to have an official home media release (VHS, DVD).
During the live action portion of the opening sequence, as Hogan marches down the street, a few people in the crowd that surrounds The Hulkster can be seen tripping and falling. Before quickly getting back up. (Look at the top right corner. Particularly for a lady in a pink shirt.)
Mad Maxine was originally animated for the Rock N Wrestling cartoon but since she left the WWF before the cartoon came out she was replaced by Moolah.
Lewis Arquette voiced "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka in this series. Fifteen years later, Lewis's son David Arquette would go on to appear in the wrestling movie Ready to Rumble (2000), and also be crowned the WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
The series theme song, entitled "Hulk Hogan's Theme" and available on The Wrestling Album, was an edited instrumental version of Bonnie Tyler's song "Ravishing" from her Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire album. The theme, written by Jim Steinman, was also used by Hulk Hogan as his entrance music, prior to adopting "Real American" by Rick Derringer (which at the time was being used by the tag team of Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham).
While Brad Garrett has an introduction credit in 'The Jetsons Movie' (ie: ..and introducing..), It was actually Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling that was his first credit in which he provided the voice of the titular character for more of the production than Hogan himself.
