How to Train Your Dragon remixed to the latest trailer for the second part of The Hobbit trilogy, the Desolation of Smaug.
I'm pretty revved up excited for this latest return to Middle Earth! I saw the first Hobbit film (An Unexpected Journey) last year and loved it to bits (woot Gandalf!). When I first watched this trailer on June 13, 2013, the day it came out, my sister and I were pumped by all the "dragon" references. To our HTTYD brains, it meant but one thing -- an HTTYD trailer dub!! The Hobbit VOs remarkably fit the HTTYD story, if you think about it. This was a blast to slap together in my free time. I hope no one else had dibs on it, because I really intended to finish and post it on the day this trailer was released. XD Turns out I was almost 2 weeks over my schedule! But it's here now, and I hope my friends enjoy it. I *do* know that the wonderful hiccuptoothless94 made a dub to the first Hobbit movie's trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=V4SMwktjhW4
I wonder who'll finish out the trifecta next year? ;)

And Hiccup sure gets a lot of voice parts in this!! From Legloas to a dwarf to the Elf Lord Thranduil, while Astrid got the gorgeously demure Tauriel lines. Stoick got the brunt of the "evil" side. XD

OKAY. So yesterday the trailer to Rogue One: a Star Wars story hit the Interwebs and I went and got all excited thinking our new heroine is Lukes wife and Reys mother, aka Mara Jade, rechristened Jyn Erso. She gave me all sorts of Katniss vibes too and then that whole question posed in the trailer— being captured, being broken, what will you become?? And all Im thinking is MARA.
Anyway. I AM SO EXCITE and I threw this together. It also doubles somewhat as a tribute to Mara/Luke, because that song is so perf for them.
Heres hoping Thrawn is the officer in white!
Cant wait for December!! Let the raging speculation begin!
